OUR MISSION
Prevent Housing Instability Before It Becomes Homelessness.
The Reed Veteran Housing Foundation works to prevent veteran housing instability before it becomes homelessness by connecting veterans and transitioning service members to stable housing opportunities through early intervention, housing navigation, referral coordination, and community partnerships.
OUR VISION
A veteran housing ecosystem built on prevention.
The Reed Veteran Housing Foundation was created to become part of a larger veteran housing ecosystem focused on prevention, stability, and long-term housing access.
Through partnerships with veteran-serving organizations, housing providers, public agencies, and community stakeholders, we are working to expand quality housing opportunities for veterans while preventing housing instability before it becomes homelessness.
As the Foundation grows, that ecosystem may include nonprofit housing acquisition, development, leasing, preservation, rehabilitation, or other mission-aligned housing initiatives designed to increase long-term housing stability for veterans and their families.
Our vision is to build a scalable model that can be replicated across multiple states while maintaining the same standards of accountability, governance, and service.
To build a scalable veteran housing ecosystem that prevents housing instability, expands access to quality housing opportunities, and creates pathways to long-term stability for veterans and their families.
