Preventing veteran housing instability is relationship work, and relationships take people. If you have time, skills, or a network, there is a place for you here.

Ways to help

  • Outreach and community engagement — help us reach veterans early at events, employers, and community organizations.

  • Partnership development — open doors to housing providers, agencies, and organizations in your network.

  • Skilled and professional support — grant writing, communications, design, data, or administrative support.

  • Veteran peer support — veterans helping veterans navigate a difficult stretch.

  • Events and awareness — help organize and staff Foundation events.

Please note. Volunteers do not provide case management or clinical services. Volunteer roles support outreach, partnerships, navigation, and operations.

You do not have to be a veteran

Many of our volunteers are. Many are not. What matters is that you are willing to show up for people who already showed up for this country.

We typically respond within 1–2 business days.
